Welcome to Outlaw Desert, a free-to-play, text-based western frontier role-playing game ("the Game", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the operators of Outlaw Desert. By creating an account, accessing, or playing the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only play with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You must be at least 18 years old, or have verifiable parental/guardian consent, to make any purchase. By playing, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
Each player may operate one account only. The following are strictly prohibited:

The Game has an in-character outlaw theme, but real-world abuse of other people is never acceptable. In chat, the forum, messages, names, and anywhere else, you may not post or send:
Keep disputes in-character and in good spirit. Targeted real-world hostility is not "roleplay."
You are responsible for everything you post (forum topics, replies, messages, names, images/links you embed, etc.). You must have the right to share anything you post, and it must comply with these Terms. By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and moderate it within the Game. We may remove, edit, or refuse any content at our discretion.
Violations may result in any action we consider appropriate, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:
We may take action with or without prior notice. Banned accounts forfeit all progress and purchases without refund.
Outlaw Desert is a live, evolving game. We may add, change, rebalance, suspend, or remove features, content, economies, and rules at any time. The Game runs in seasons that may end, reset, or wipe competitive progress (such as territory, standings, or rounds) as designed. Such changes and resets are a normal part of play and do not entitle you to any compensation or refund.
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of data loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of accounts, virtual goods, data, or progress arising from your use of the Game. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You may stop playing and request account closure at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including virtual-goods, refund, conduct, liability, and enforcement terms) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the Game, and continued play after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Questions about these Terms, or reports of cheating or abuse, can be sent to the staff through the in-game Telegraph / support channels. Please include your account name and as much detail as possible.
